Once again, Millville leads the art world with innovation. This is the second year, and I still was anxious all week about the event. Would people show up? Would we have fun? Thanks to everyone that volunteered, we had a great event. And thanks to everyone that attended, it was an overwhelming success.
Carol and Jenny- thanks for all the great help in the kitchen. I couldn't have done it without you. Also, your contributions to the food table were out of this world- delicious!
Steve, Dan, Bob & Meed- thanks for the tunes. Music is always a special component to any event as it sets the tone and pace. Thank you all for coming together and serenading us with your voices and instruments. A good time was had by all.
And a special thanks to Wayne Russel who inadvertently is setting the stage for the new direction of the Bonfires to come as we are doing so well in ridding the community of bad art, that there is little left to burn. We will have to morph into an event where art is made specifically to burn. I'm already thinking of what to make for next year! And Wayne, I know you are!
And a big thanks to my husband Dave, for without him, this event (and many others)would not be possible. -Michelle Post
