Wild Iris was originally made for the wedding invitation for my first husband and father of my daughter Sara, Byrd Post. Although the marriage didn't last, I kept the name. Byrd tragically past away a few years back of ALS. He was a great guy and the world lost a great bass fisherman. I always found it ironic that I married a man named "Byrd" when most of the subject matter in my work were birds!
